This work, an open black hand with striking colors and patterns, infuses the observer with the seduction rhythms of the Brasilian Bossa Nova. It is an extraordinary post that looks like a photo of a sculpture  with bright swirls suggesting the excitements of Carnival in Rio. Vintage and rare large sized poster, one of Mr. Kieser’s most gorgeous designs.

Gunther Kieser, aka Gunter Kieser, was a prolific artist whose work dominated the international music scene in the 1960s and 1970s,  His work can be found everywhere and his piece depicting Jimi Hendrix was on display at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art during the recent exhibition dedicated to rock and roll music.  His work is among the most collectible rock poster art of the time.  His subjects span the royalty of rock and roll from Rod Stewart to Traffic to Eric Burdon to Elton John to Ray Charles to The Who and just about every other artist of note.
